I absolutely love my Breville single cup coffee maker and I'm fairly religious about changing the filters since I do think good water is important to good coffee. When I put my last filter in the machine I automatically order another box. This time the experience was easy and quick, requiring practically no effort on my part -- so much easier that locating a retail store and making a trip.

I ordered these filters after going through a previous box. Something has definitely changed. The normal ones are charcoal and you soak them and they are very pliable. These are odd. First, the seal on the box was broken. Second, there is no charcoal in these at all. There are some gold colored crystals that become hard in water. Nothing I would want my water going through. Something is off here - so beware buying from anyone else other than Amazon. Also note the seller Carolina Gifts and Collectibles does not stand by their product - do not buy.

Its the best coffee maker around. A little expensive, but worth it. I love all the Breville items. This has proved to be money well spent. Great coffee at all times, easy on the eye, we are 100 percent happy with this purchase.

We use a PUR filter on our tap, which basically does the same thing as this, as such, we do not replace the Breville filter as often as the manufacturer suggests. I hope the Breville filter police do not find out.

Makes the BEST coffee ever!May 22, 2009

I have tried a number of pod single serve coffeemakers; but after much research based on Amazon reviews such as this, I bought the Breville. With the K-cups you have much more of a variety of coffees than with other coffeemaker brands. My only negative comment is that when it first starts to brew it vibrates and the base rattles and is a bit noisy. Other than that it is really the perfect coffeemaker.
LOVE IT!!!
